All merchandise purchased from A. Cavallo Violins, LLC has a 7-day unconditional money back guarantee from the date of receipt (date the item was received) if returned in new condition. If you return an item after 7 days but within 30 days of receipt and the item is in new condition, we will give you an unconditional return for store credit. We stand by our products, and will exchange or return a damaged or defective product to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Return Procedures

Your order is very important to us! It will be carefully packed and inspected to assure your satisfaction.

A. Cavallo Violins, LLC guarantees all instruments for one year from the date of purchase. All necessary adjustments and repairs due to normal use and care will be repaired at no charge for the first year. We provide complimentary tonal adjustments and string installation for the life of any instrument purchased at A. Cavallo Violins, LLC. Regular maintenance items such as bow rehairs and string replacement are the responsibility of the customer. Bridges strings, and bow hair are not covered by this warranty. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to warranty service. This warranty is waived if anyone other than A. Cavallo Violins, LLC attempts a repair or adjust the instrument.

Item Arrives Damaged

A. Cavalllo Violins, LLC will arrange for the carrier to pick up and inspect the package(s). For purposes of returning items back to us, please retain the original packing materials. Take pictures of the damaged items and packaging to facilitate your claim.

Shipping a Return

1. Please call us for authorization upon receipt of the defective or damaged merchandise.
2. Write us a note explaining the reasons for return, including the information about the item(s) you are returning, the reason for the return, and what you would like in exchange for the item (choose refund or exchange) and enclose your invoice if you still have it. Clearly indicate your name and address on all correspondence
3. Package the item(s) carefully and with the appropriate padding. Use original packaging if possible.
4. Seal the box well and affix return labels.

Shipping Policies

A. Cavallo Violins, LLC will attempt to get you your order shipped as fast as possible.  We pride ourselves on fast fulfillment of orders and usually attempt to achieve same day shipping. This means that all in-stock orders placed Monday-Thursday will ship within 24 hours. Orders placed after noon on Friday and during the weekend should ship the following Monday.  Instruments and some larger accessories make take a little extra time for preparation.

There may be additional charges for orders outside the continental US (see below).
Large items require additional charges. These fees will be added to the standard shipping cost at the time of your order in your shopping cart.
Your standard ground order will ship via UPS, USPS, DHL or FedEx at A. Cavallo Violins, LLC discretion. Smaller accessories shipments will usually go by first class mail, and larger, bulkier items, such as instruments and cases will usually go by alternative carriers.
For standard shipping, we guarantee 10 business days for delivery.  All orders are fully insured.

All delivery times are in business days - Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Additional charges for shipping may be assessed:
• When you wish to specify a carrier. Then you will be quoted actual freight costs plus handling and insurance, which may be substantially higher.
• When you are outside the continental USA.
• If you want shipping to a PO Box or APO address.
• If you wish expedited (2nd day or overnight) shipping.
